Katie is the Senior Director of Internal Operations at Abode, where she partners closely with the HR and Finance teams to support professional development initiatives, advise managers on team processes, and streamline internal operations. She also works with Abode’s leadership team to refine and execute planning processes, ensuring teams are aligned with company priorities and operating in sync.

Katie is especially motivated by the opportunity to align her professional experience with Abode’s mission. Katie holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture, where she developed a strong interest in the relationship between building design, energy use, and environmental impact. That foundation sparked a long‑standing passion for how thoughtful design and systems can help reduce carbon emissions. Early in her career, she gravitated toward business management and organizational effectiveness, gaining experience across a range of industries—from a brief role at a biotech company to operations work at a Mass Save HPC prior to joining Abode. Her background spans project and operations management as well as corporate and financial planning. Outside of work, she is a parent of two and enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and occasionally taking modern dance classes.
