Kavitha has been involved in sustainability related work since 2024. She is a member of the Sustainable Lexington Committee, serves on the board of the Lexington Climate Action Network (LexCAN), and chairs the Sustainability sub-committee of the Indian Americans of Lexington (IAL) group. She has advocated to enact sustainable policies at Lexington Town Meeting; continues to educate the community to take action towards a sustainable lifestyle; and has been working to electrify her own home with heat pumps, solar and more. Prior to her work in the area of sustainability, Kavitha has held various leadership positions across drug development, program management, and portfolio strategy in the biopharma industry.
